The Corner

Theres this corner where she sits thinking of her days, whishing there was a day that everything she knew to be true would change; and in her corner she sees the sunlight, feels the suns rays, she smells the wonderful night sky, enjoys this bitter daze. But when she leaves this corner lifes just not the same; reality sets in; friends begin to stray. See all she really wants is someone who will stay, or maybe a place where she could get away; from her pain all bottled away. Mama never wanted her, daddy went away. And the only memories she'll ever betray is the one where the guard would say, "back away". Still this broken little girl confused about the world, has to deal with society and its intense portrail of a girl. But she cant trust society, let alone trust herself. The corner's heronly friend, which will soon lead to her death.
