corner of dust

In the library I’m the corner Behind the bookcase Collecting dust The dust of knowledge Everyone knows I’m there They leave me be In the stair well I’m the corner On the top flight Collecting dust The dust of observation Everyone knows I’m there They leave me be In the house I’m the corner Behind the door Collecting dust The dust of journey Everyone knows I’m there They leave me be In the closet I’m the corner Next to the broom Collecting dust The dust of labor Everyone knows I’m there They leave me be In the studio Im the corner Behind the easel Collecting dust The dust of creativity Everyone knows I’m there They leave me be they leave me alone my quiet resting corner they just leave me be
