Why Do I Write? Its like asking why do we breath or why do people die. See, without writing, without being able to pour my heart out on paper that is white Or not being allowed to express my thoughts on a page I do not know if I can go and live my life. If the world just took a moment and wrote their thoughts, their emotions Get a notion to put down a gun and realize that writing is somewhat of a healing potion I can bet we can get this love train in motion Some individuals even have the talent to put their writings in song That even manages to be popular for very long. Now how do any of these things correlate? Ask yourself this... Music is poetry, what if artists such as Hendrix, Lennon, and Mercury Did not write what their hearts felt, and they kept thinking "What if they heard it from me?" "What if they heard that peace is good?" "What if they heard it is great to have fun?" "What if they heard that in order to solve problems you do not need to pick up a gun?" This is why I write, an outlet of my emotions Into my notebook.. You can even say its my therapist And it listens to me, always.
