Corridors
Corridors
Faded white
Stripes of grey
Florescent lights
Dirty Fingerprints
On the walls
Longing to
Escape these halls
Where we'll be climbing through your doors
through your windows through your floors
Screaming children, gnashing teeth
empty pages, headlines shriek.
So who could ever really blame us
For revolution that sustains us
suffering repeated zaps
until one day we had to snap
But don't you worry bout it dear
there simply is no need to fear
for the night has got us strapped
in oh the light has got us trapped
In Corridors
and Faded white
Stripes of grey
Florescent lights
Broken teeth
Broken spines
Break of dawn
We are consigned
In Corridors
and Faded white
Stripes of grey
Florescent lights
Broken chests
Broken minds
Broken wrists
We are confined
We have resigned to failure now
We hold ourselves together now
You are the ones that made us
Yeah but we're the ones that fix us
We hold ourselves together
with these belts that strap us in.
