Corrosion

A shattered mind mends a broken heart

Twisted is perception as an elder pine

Roots submerged beyond sight

The culling of thoughts is harrowing

Withered is the base of the conifer

Torn apart by forces unbeknownst

Rotten to its core from others interactions

Only to be burnt away and born anew
