Corrosive

So in my life I have this corrosive, most people would call it an obsession, and some others would call it progressive, I call it my everyday profession, it helps me think about what to do next. some people would call it a waste of time, and why I chose that as my life long quest, and to think that its worth every penny? this corrosive also makes me lazy, while though it is a rushing sensation, and people still would call me crazy, my mom thinks it's an abomination, but to me this corrosive may bring fame, imagine this corrosive a video game?
