Corruption

Agony, dismal, and misery

What happened to all the chivalry?

Kids crying, people dying, and for what?

What des it take to kick people in the butt?

Cruel people and petrified faces

Are there any safe places?

Children swearing,

Parents not caring

This is suppose to be a sacred place

Now it's just corrupt space!

Fear of leaving your own home

Afraid of venturing into the unknown

When did this world become so dark?

With everyone hungry like a shark

Has power corrupted the mind?

There's something in us all we can find

Put away the guns, knives, and greed!

Let's plant a new see

A seed of trust, respect, patience, and kindness

Or will we stay veiled by blindness?

Future generations need to start

On a new work of art

Putting the world in its rightful state

This is not up for debate

Things need to change now

People making a difference take a bow

One day others will see

How peaceful a place this can one day be
