Cory
my tears wash around me,
I fall to the ground,
on my knees I sob,
why am i so stupid,
this world is not for me,
I am a mistake,
but I cannot be erased,
I put a fake smile on my face,
inside I know I am not loved,
or wanted,
I am weak,
I start to shake,
then i hear him laughing,
calling me pretty,
saying "I love you,"
It is Cory,
my tears vanish,
my dark thoughts subside,
for a moment I believe I am meant to be here,
that I am loved,
so I answer, "I love you too,"
meaning every word,
and I rise from the ground,
not as weak as I once was.
