cosmic energy of positivity and love
Flores,
The words you spoke to me.
The ones I needed to hear.
Like were my tio after cinco chellas.
Like if you were my dad giving me tough love,
but you knew when to let sweet and gentle words into my skin.
My skin like the one you made me even prouder of.
We instantly connected.
Maybe it was our passion for literature and decolonization.
It couldve been our devotion in healing all our chakras and connecting with the universe.
I think i know what it was.
It was our empathy to our hardworking and immigrant parents.
Who didn't have any other choice but to be colonized.
Who's childhood broke them.
At the same time our resentment towards them for being conservative, for not braking the
chain on how we raise our Mexican, American children.
For not giving us the love we felt like we needed
My love for you is forever lasting.
I love you from West all the way to East Oakland.
love you till our time here is done and will keep
Sending you love as our souls enter a new era.
Desde aqui asta puro pinche Jalsico, Mexico te doy gracias.
The world spinning with millions of people
and the universe lead me to you.
Thank you for letting me into your life.
Con mucho amor,
Lili
