Cosmic Symphony
There goes the dreamer, the artist
The mistress in despair
The importance of their lives
is deemed not enough to care
The hotshot, the big guy
The grand millionaire
Couldn't give a shit about me
As long as he gets his share
And there is a rarity in the clarity
Of what actually makes sense
And all the things that would better us
Are not put into effect
It's a sad thing really
To put a value on a soul
To gain control
And it takes a toll on us all
I do hope someday
and damn do I pray
that we can get away
So we can survive,
so we can strive
and revive the people
we are in inside
And no matter the person
color, religion, or race
Every human face
will be praised
every human face
will be praised
