CaitlynBergman

Hi, I'm Caitlyn. I'm twenty years old and I was born and raised in Orange, California. Right now, I live in Austin, Texas (if you've never been, COME! It's a must-see) and going to school at Concordia University Texas studying English. I've always had a fascination with words. One of my professors (I owe him so much) encouraged me to start my own poetry, and I guess you'd say the rest is history! I prefer writing free verse and draw from my own life experiences and observations. To me, poetry is my way of trying to figure out what the universe is saying to me and capturing it using the most precise words possible.
