Costume
I could've sworn you hated me.
I have no idea why.
I should've talked to you sooner.
I guess I was just too shy?
You had a gorgeous smile
that could light up a whole room.
Yours was real and genuine
Mine worn like a costume.
You seemed quite comfortable
just talking to your friends
then I was determined,
for you to talk to me like them.
I don't really know the reason
I was so drawn to you.
maybe it was your smile
it was so honest and true.
I'm sure you have your moments
cause damn, don't we all?
but from now on,
I got you if you fall.
Cause now you're kinda stuck,
You kinda have no say.
Cause now you're stuck being my friend
There is no other way.
