Cotton Candy Life

Location

All clear!
Count to three
I'll pull, you just push for me
And she will push and there will be pain
But she will push some more in her daughter's name
And I'll be there to catch that soft cotton candy pink child
I will be the most tired doctor with the biggest smile
Because all of my hard work, lack of support, and school added up to something
I'll be part of something momentous, even though I came from nothing
Every debt, every tear, every "you can not do it" that landed in my ear will drop to the bottom of the abyss because I've gotten to witness life like this
Ive gotten to see what love created, families elated and not for a thing in the world would I trade it
Because who would give up life in its rarest form
I wouldn't
So I have to make it, this has to be my day to day norm
