A Cotton Jinn

  • One piece o cotton in the cotton gin:
  • exemplary of utmost industry.
  • Who would of thunk it, this one little Jinn
  • is supplementary to misery.
  • The utter depression of progression;
  • Black left sacked, retarded, separated.
  • The utter suppression of regression;
  • Red left dead and/or uncompensated.
  • Soldiers, plebeians, get what they deserve,
  • victim is whom, Who is the Aggressor.
  • Forever under Judge Samuel, they serve,
  • “We are the Greater, thou art the lesser”.
  • Past present and future all make today,
  • dead lay, in the fray, seize the day, your way.

More a writer than a poet, but still good at both.
