The Couch

The Life long companion

The 6th brother

Not a 2nd Sister

Because the couch

doesn't hide its

Feelings

Every Squeak.

groan. and

Moan express its feelings,

pains and

attitude

Its old, tired and on its last legs

its only legs

I know it

its true but

you can always postpone the truth

Can't You?

Now Couch

We may have to leave you

But we know you'll just gain another

Brother, sister, friend

with the next family

So be strong

And know that I love you

In all your brownness

with all your scars,

All the water marks

And all the other imperfections you have

because thats how a brother

loves a brother
