Could, Could Never
I seem cursed to love what I can't ever have
But I could have had, and that's the rub
I ran away when it looked like love
And I see my folly when I look back
Could, could never
Can turned to can't
Wouldn't, now would
Shouldn't but should
I seem cursed to love what I can't ever have
But I could have had, and that's the rub
Don't run away when it looks like love
You'll see your folly when you look back
Although could can be changed, could-never cannot
And love sometimes grows from less than you thought
