Could Have Been Better

I could have been better

Stealing from my mom

lying to her

I had good grades

but my bad behvaior overshadowed them

I don't know why I did those things

I guess it was because my dad wasn't around

I was always trying to grab someone's attention

but I don't know who's

Then I got my heart broken trying to get it

It felt like my soul was shattered

I couldn't breathe

something in my mind just snapped

I wanted to die

I can't hide the scars on my arms

I can't hide the pain in my heart

I can't hide the tears in my eyes

So I don't

I wield them like weapons to fight everyday battles
