could i be mosaic?

i found art in my friends, in their faces in the words and the way they spoke
their togetherness and the way they felt so whole

i however have never seen myself as beautiful nor a work of art because i feel that i
am too broken to become one

but there are plenty of art pieces that are made from the remains of something
once beautiful, once ugly,
once working, once useless
right?

mosaics are made up of broken glass and people all over the world can find beauty in them

could i be a mosaic?

my friends are the artists but not i, for my passion is long gone
and i dont know how to put myself back together

but my friends are not responsible for handling me and when they try they decide that
this project is hopeless

my pieces are too sharp to handle and they dont want to bother anymore

my shards lack the colors they want to use

but i dont know how to do it
i am not an artist

i'll cut myself if fail to figure out what im doing

i dont know if i can be a mosaic.

the cry from the most helpless depth of the heart. that's what this poem brought to me. It came with honesty and bravery, brave for admitting that in life imperfection is inevitable. this poem touched me with its cold, tiny fingers and i must say to you, this is beautiful. i don't know how to say it right. this is beautiful. you are beautiful too. cliche, i know. but, please, before you literally cut yourself, just think how you were born carrying a purpose. i don't know if you believe in God and please understand that i don't try to preach you, but i believe that God has created everyone (including you), as a masterpiece, just like this poem of yours.

anyway, great writing. i really really like the first line, it's a great opening. keep up the good work.
