Could It Be
Verse 1:
Could it be, that I stand here so tall, so strong, so happy up inside I weep.
Could it be that I am standing here alive beating death, from my head to my feet.
Could it be, that I live through you, in my soul, and the days that I peep, in the darkness trying to find light, so it could shine, let it move like that sheep.
Cause in form God led his animals, he led them the righteous way, still yet we do so much good, have so much fame, so much money, yet why do we pray.
Could it be, that this is not today yet Judgment is on his way, or is it an Armageddon that we`ve been waiting for, still could it be.
Verse 2:
Could it be that I didn`t see, through my eyes, hands, through inside that I seek, never again shall I give up on Him, our Lord, our Christ, the Peek.
To highest extent let the epitome of creation he devoted to his children and his angels I see, could this be I am standing here and he is next to me.
Could it be that this life could not be what it seems, maybe a dream within a dream, that I didn`t go through the ups and the downs and around to try to find the smile.
That I lasted this long, thinking it was over quick yet it lasted for a while.
Could it be from him this love that I have in my heart, once was there, barely tangible from the start.
Verse 3:
Let it thirst and be giving a drink, let it taste and let it think, let it march down to the graceful river bank, oh I didn’t do it, but whom is above is it that I thank.
Could it be that his presence is around us all, keeping us from the day that we fall, soon oh yes it will be, in the ground buried six feet deep, yet he arose from being under and said I am here.
Before silenced to death, now he speaks, come into his arms and you shall see.
Could it be that the days go by, all the bad, the wickedness, the hazard, and the translucent life we ask why.
That you can do all the bad and all the good and say amen and thank you, but at night you still cry.
Verse 4:
Wishing and praying to live just a little bit longer, to have a little more fun, before our loved ones die.
Could it be that he created us in his image, resurrected from the dead, and started our beginning, stood at the highest of the high, but yielded to the lowest of the low.
Could it be that it could be someone up there who we just don’t know.
So I say to you could this be, the life we live, not fast, not sudden, but slow.
Or could it be in our mind we still wonder who dwell above the clouds we could possibly know.
Even after your jumbled with the facts, opinions, not knowing the story behind the show, cause the eye hates what the eye doesn`t see.
Only to leave you to think momentarily, Could it Be.
