1. 2. 1 2 3 4 Close your eyes Hold ‘em tight Cause I’ve got you in my prayers tonight. I know you’re lost And I know you’re scared But don’t you worry The end is near Whisper your mind, to me my dear Tell me your secrets And I’ll you show you mine No need to share em In the cool day’s light OH And hold me tight And whisper my dear Your deepest thoughts Cause the end is near OH let it go And watch the stars fall tonight baby Cause I’ll be holding you tight And it’ll be alright No one said this life was easy So hold onto your faith and maybe You’ll survive Hmm… Your life will go on and on and on If you act like the end is near tonight

Hello, I'm Allie. I'm a very honest person who has a witty sense of humor. I love to meet new people and listen to stories about their life experiences. I believe that life lessons can be acquired at any moment and that we should learn from everyday. I try my best to be a good person and do what I can to help out. I work at an animal shelter and love it. I also love to read, write, sleep, and eat mashed potatoes :)

This poem has a spectacular ring of a lullaby or a hushed song, the rhyming is sweet and soothing and seems to bring comfort as you read it. I've read another of your poems not too long ago, and I'm starting to see the patterns in how you write and the rhyming in your style. I'm very much enjoying it, and I hope I come across more of them.

I especially love this piece because though at first it really does feel like the world is coming to an end the realization at the end that it is all a matter of acting as if it were makes it all the more real and brings forth your hopes and how you want to view this life.

Thank you so much for sending this in.
Rebecca
