Countdown

From the lights and stage.
To doubting, and clouded minds.
Unsure of a path.

A year of time since.
Forcing back to joy and fear.
Yet time she draws near.

Prices climb, costs add up.
But my future hangs limp.
Maybe I’ll make due.

Either way two years lost.
Time, she just may take them all.
With no other plan set.

She has left a gift.
A cursed reality shift.
Somewhere bliss has died.

Games and fantasy.
Childish waste, ancient history.
Stay til death do us part.
