The Countenance of Grey

Grey is the way the clouds roll and rage

The clatter of plastic hooves in the hand of the un-aged

Grey is the innocence of the undecided mind

And the color of water under a storming sky

Grey is the stark mountain peaks in the mountain range

And boredom of a child's dreary morning stage

Grey is for those who aren't decided on black or white

The color of questions and curious minds
