Country Days

Open dirt roads; Dust stirrin’ under thunderous tires Blue skies kissin’ green tree-tops; White clouds flutterin’ by Wadin’ in the creek; Muck up to your knees Jumpin’ in the water; Lettin’ the cool wind blow Fireflies creepin’ against the dark canvas; Stars twinklin’ galaxies away The smell of wood burnin’; Bottles clinkin’ against bottles Guitar strings drawin’ all near; Quiet music echoin’ in the still of night The cycle repeatin’ on good ol’, Country days
