Courage
On this island, I am free,
To do just as I please.
Nothing to hold me, nothing, just me,
My mind not at all at ease.
With naught in my pockets, what would help me now
From the fear that eats my soul?
What awful joke, what thing so foul,
Would bequeth me to this evil?
This tiny thing, it seems so small,
It won't even fit in my palm.
It holds my breast, won't let me fall,
Tosses aside my sense of qualm.
Courage is what I choose to bring,
It is all I have room to hold.
I need nothing else, not a single thing,
My courage will not leave me cold.
