Courageously Shy

I want to,

I know I can,

and I will,

Eventually...

One problem,

I'm too shy to take up the challenge.

I have dreams,

of extraordinary accomplishments

and I'm the one who did it.

I know dreams come true,

and I know how to make mine come true

although, I'm shy of being courageous

to make my dreams come true.

Not scared, lazy, nor prideful, but simply shy

like how people are shy around other people.

Shy, for me is wanting to do somehting,

but an imaginary force stronger than me,

is holding me back.

I can't fight it,

but sometimes I can outwit it,

and make some of my dreams to come true,

but I only have one half my fight.
