The Course of Life

Silence comsumes the soul, wind rushes past,

balls roll in the hole, the golfer finishes at last.

The beautiful game, the tranquility of the course,

hoping for fame, hitting the ball with great force.

As life goes on, the player must learn,

to avoid the pond, or a deadly turn.

Decisions must be made, the greens flow left and right,

the times when life fades, the ball takes its flight.

The course changes the golfer from a boy to a man,

time moves on for the golfer follows life's plan.
