The Cove (For My Māma)
The sight of the water reminds me of my childhood. The sound of the crashing waves makes me feel truly sane. The taste of the sea salt through the ocean air makes me feel right at home. The feeling of the sand underneath my feet brings me back to my serenity. Then suddenly, a wave washes over my feet, as if she is saying "Hello, darling" from up in Heaven.
