Covered Colors
I come from the dirty lands of Wyoming to the awesome sights of Colorado
I come from tingling winds to fiery air with a blink of an eye
Thats pretty awesome
I come from a mother and father never together but forever in love
A dstance faraway but never to long
It's pretty awesome
I come from a family so differently similar
I come from yellow stained walls and spotless counters
With memories in every mark
They're pretty awesome
I come from loud noises and daring movement
Thunderous meows in the late night of a homely bed
It's pretty awesome
I come from the loyalty and strength
Always there but never seen
I come from sympathy and independence
Stand for myself and others
I come from honor and beauty
A bright butterfly in the shadows
And that's pretty awesome
Because I come from the covered colors
Only some choose to see
