Covet

Luke 12:14 

¹⁴ But Jesus said to him, “Man, who made me a judge or arbitrator between

you two?”

To covet starts with little things ... the things that you may deserve

When you give all or a little bit ... to withhold will take some nerve

Our just rewards through labor earned ... God wants us to do well

Pull out the bible chapter and verse to prove ... that to have more is swell

Of all things to covet first ... is a reasonable list of excuses

To turn the scriptures in a way ... to make their will inclusive

We well know all things in death... starts with sins that appear little

And wanting just a little more... makes us appear more than brittle
