COVID-19

COVID-19 is the master thief

Wretched and cold.

It steals more than just the lives

Stole my all my sanity and my leif

Now I can’t hold

My love; whose heart beat’s my drive

Coronavirus is the best giver

Freely gifting

Endless amounts of sorrow

On our lonely world, it shivers

Slowly shifting

Under the bulk of tomorrow

SARS-CoV-2 is the keeper of last words

Preserves each breath

And syllables one has said

Wants them secret to question your self-worth

If God gave death

To your love should you have gone instead?
