Coward

I am a coward, hear my whimper, here me nothing

I do not speak up, speak out, stand up, stand out

I am careless, I am blind, I am ruthless in my mind

I am a coward, hear me watch, watch my enemy

terrorizing my friends and me

I do nothing and get nothing in return

I expect something, and refuse to learn

I am a coward, hear me whisper

there is a prison of courage inside

guarded by fear and doubt

I am a coward, hear me wait, wait to fight another day

each and every single day

but today I will change, myself, my ways, my everything

I will not rely on you, my prison, my cage

I will speak up, speak out, stand up, stand out

because I am a warrior

hear me roar.
