Cowboy

The things you learn

in Sunday School...

One week, we built

Noah's Ark:

Folded paper

plates,

Construction paper

door--

United with Elmer's

glue.

Across from me sat

John-John

of the

Pointed Boots.

The teacher saw

a model child

cutting paper;

Under the table,

legs swung,

Purpling my shins.

I raised my hand, but

our teacher

told me not

to tattle.

Mom siad,

"Kick Back."

The things you learn

in Sunday School...
