Coyote

You were allowed,

yet you didn't have to.

Secrectly sorrowed,

and you made me take you.

Why would you?

You hurt me,

scarred me in ways I won't forget.

Let me be!

Cover my wounds from threat.

Why would you?

Just move on;

leave me here to rot.

attack another fawn

without ever getting caught.

Why would you?

Once my fight had flickered out,

you had won without a doubt.

Why did you?
