crack over me

They say wounds heal over time but it feels as salt is in mines.

Seem as I been a broken hearted girl for 17 years.

Mother is a crack head and I’m her only kid.

You would think you would treat your only child so right

Nope not her seem she lost sight

She chose crack over me.

A drug over her only daughter.

Tell me was it worth the high

See I use to yearn for a mother

Yearn for a relationship

But I’m over it now I lost all hope

I just hope I won’t do what my mother did to me to my child just for dope

See I see how drugs can affect a relationship

Now my heart is cold and I can’t love a bit

All I wanted was a mother to love me to choose me

But seem my mother is unfit

but I learned some people aren’t meant to be mothers only carriers

thats just the way of life.
