Cracked

There's been those who have fallen for me, They fall and crack, For the girl that they seem to adore, Cannot love them back. I'm just a wind up doll, A slave to the chase, My mind is always focused On how to win the race. My emotions are always in motion And I can't seem to grip, How these men fall for me, When I always leave their hearts chipped. It's a constant game, Of is this real or imaginary, Do I like you, no love you? Why is affection so scary? And the times that I do give in, And try to let myself believe, That maybe you're right, And you are the one for me, Well those are the times That I run away and hide From all your future bullshit But it's all in my mind. So to my future suitors, Or my potential lovers, You may be the one for me But I suggest you go and find another. Because I too have slipped and fallen, And my heart is cracked, From the ones I let take my heart, And now I can't get it back.
