A cracked mirror

My heart beats fast with butterflies.
As I close my eyes; I dream of you and I.
Realizing you had me the very first sight.
I genuinely smile as we talk; so in love.
Oblivious to the world outside we walk.

Do you remember the first time we met?
Every second talking to you is the best;
An amazing feeling of love and respect.
Not gonna lie, I think about you all the time.
Gotta tell everyone that you are mine.

Since you came into my life, it’s been nice
And everything seems just right.
Never thought my light could shine so bright.
Aspiring a life with you is all I wanna do.

But alast, things are too good to be true.

Changing my heart is so new.

Roses are red, violets are blue.

Sugar is sweet. It is all so very true.

But roses turn black, violets stay sad.

The mirror I once looked through was now all cracked.

Oh mirror mirror on the wall.

How did I make this big great fall?

Thus, it forced me to open my brown eyes.

Just to see my greatest demise.

It was not him but so I cry,

It was I who did not survive.
