The Cracks in my Hands

Once upon a time,

A time close to now,

I was an innocent,

A porcelain doll

But then I was broken,

And I started to fall,

Two years have passed,

And I’m losing pieces,

Until nothing is left

Of what was created

No glue can fix me,

No tape can bind me,

The hands that once held me,

Have fallen to ruin.

Once upon a time,

I was complete,

But now all I’ve got,

Is a mess at my feet.
