Cracks Of The Skin
My skin glows from whithin, it is tough, unique and has no end.
The sun kisses me as if it was my lips, it blesses me,
the longer I stay out in the sunflower field with it.
My skin doesnt crack, it tightens because it needs all its strength
to carry on my legend, its legend and for little black kids
whom seem to have become bitter for whats within,
I used to be the same so relax you have a friend.
My skin is like a mountain, tall, bold and seen
it is as beautiful as the bluest water of Erythraean Sea
it blossoms with the sweetest sent such as the Calla Lilly
who is very rare and hard to gete a hold of...
So why, oh must what do we need to be ashamed of?
The scorns and threats? Beatings and deaths?
My skin breaks barriers when I scroll through a room,
It turns the white mans head, they ask themeselves who?
Who is that dark beautiful creation of Huru,
and i look in your eyes and reply thats you!.
Beautiful skin, deep skin radient skin
when are we going to take whats ours
and what this skin began?!
