Crammed on the couch,six
Crammed on the couch,
six in space for four,
a stranger sitts amoung us,
the stranger is me.
Around all my friends,
I cannot be myself.
I want to be accepted,
and think that I belong,
even if I am fake,
it's better than being alone.
I just want them to know that I am not okay with the drugs they do and the alcohol they drink and the people they have meaningless one-night stands with, that I worry about their saftey and lives and futures, and that if they ever truely need someone I will be there.
But this will never fit.
So I am stuck,
in the land of the superficial,
sitting on the living room couch,
between friends I do not know,
I live the life of someone else,
until I have the courage,
To change my life myself.
