You made a promise

One you couldn't keep

To be honest

You knew you couldn't down deep

You wonder why you exist

You have nothing to seek

You look in those sins and cuts of yours

You find nothing to note

You feel your life is torn

So this is what you wrote

about how you wish you weren't born

or how your life is a sinking boat

These words mean nothing

As you have learned before

You're still here, and that is something

You keep choosing to live life once more

But you live without a thing

No soul, no hope, nothing anymore

Where to go from here,

Take the wheel because I can't steer.
