Crawling

Crawling is something we all used to do

something so we could get on the move.

Why is it that even at such a young age,

we have the urge to move?

Maybe it's a warning that none of us ever heed

or maybe it's just something we naturally do.

The only thing is is that some of us

never learn when to stop

or are unable to do much more than crawl.

Sometimes it's just we're too tired and sprawl,

or maybe we are just too afraid and stall.

We crawl gingerly to things we need,

when we're broken down

and then we stop crawling.

Why do we see crawling as so tivial

when we get older?

It's not as if there is anything more we can do

and moving is a luxury that some do not have

but what's wrong with crawling?

We do it when we think we are broken,

and until we can run again.
