Bright, Daffodil sun,

four days after  my liberation.

You were a thespian in your own play;

we were chameleons camouflaging our way.

Cloudless, Caribbean sky,

at last my eyes are bone dry.

You were a thespian in your own play;

we were chameleons camouflaging our way.

Righteous, Rusty Red, rickety truck,

I pray softly not to self-destruct.

You were a thespian in your own play;

we were chameleons camouflaging our way.

Filthy, Atomic Tangerine, baseball hat

slows to chat.

You were a thespian in your own play;

we were chameleons camouflaging our way.

Midnight Blue eyes, almost black.

Psyche vs carnal; moral combatants.

You were a thespian in your own play;

we were chameleons camouflaging our way.

More White in Burnt Umber beard,

became my pioneer.

You were a thespian in your own play;

we were chameleons camouflaging our way.

Scarlet scabs over diseased crabs,

once licked and kissed leaving scars on both of us.

You were a thespian in your own play;

we were chameleons camouflaging our way.

Sahara hands gripping the wheel that once held the Granite Gray

that made my organ splinter and splay.

You were a thespian in your own play;

we were chameleons camouflaging our way.

Lying Tickle Me Pink lips that once cried, "I fell in love with you too Miss."

I, unaware of the impending darkness of the abyss

You were a thespian in your own play;

we were chameleons camouflaging our way.

Licorice Black heart that pumped. I lied.

As my mind cracked with the colors and floated away on the tide.
