Crazy

Is it crazy that you gave me butterflies before we spoke? Or that the first time we talked I froze and choked? The truth is I was in love before i knew you. My mother always told me men lie So I protected my feelings and my guarded my heart You were my deepest temptation Disguised to the naked eye I closed my eyes and we were.... Two hearts bound by affection The warmth of your arms supplied my protection Love bloomed Radiant and bright Not a glimpse of the end Not one in sight I stole your heart and you stole mine But in the nick of time i opened my eyes Rays of reality hit me hard Leaving me stirred up and a bit jarred The love I lost left me scarred Is it crazy that through my dream i fell hard?
