Crazy Love

"WELL TO BE HONEST, I THREW IT AWAY!"

I yell this at what was my husband.  We were hopelessly in love or I was in love with him.  I stare at the wall blankly, my hair knotted, my right eye twitching and him sitting next to me.

"You were my reason to live and you left me for that caniving..."

I shake and begin to reach for him but straps were holding me down.

"You have nothing to say? I bet you'd say something to her!"

I realize I am alone.  I'm by myself.  All I hear is the voice of the man I once loved.

"What did I throw away you ask? I threw away his life and 20 others."
