Creak

I can hear him.

I can hear it. I can’t see it. There’s something-- someone at my door. The creaking of my door makes him--it so obvious. Does it not see that? Or notice that I am here? Is this, real?

Is...Am I real? I’m dreaming, right?

Right?

I.. I want to crawl away into a ball. I don’t want to be here. It’s so dark. Maybe it’ll go away if I do. ….

I’ve been “gone” for five minutes. I can’t hear it. Maybe it can see me. Or maybe it is a shadow that is enbedded in the walls?

I hope it has gone away. Maybe it’ll go away when I go away.
