The Creamy Sweet Surprise

I crave the creamy goodness.

It waits for me at home.

It's perfect for every weather,

for when it's sunny and when it's cold.

I enjoy it on every occasion.,

whether it's heartbreak,

or soothing my tender throat.

Finally home,

I hold it in my hands,

Feeling the sweat slide down its sides.

I open my mouth wide,

it starts to drip down my throat.

Devouring the delicious sweetness,

giving me chills down my spine.

It starts to reach my brain,

making me lose my mind,.

Feeling frozen in time,

I look down in this container,

Thinking that this is the one thing,

that is all mine.

As my brain warms up,

so does my heart,

taking a sigh of relieve.

Because I no longer feel torn apart.

Later next week, I’ll do the same routine,

Knowing that ice cream is my go to,

In order for me to beam.
