Creating Galaxies

I write,

Because if I do not,

I will implode like a volcano,

Carving holes and craters,

That will be unfixable.

I write,

Because if I do not,

My demons will catch me,

And never let me go.

I write,

Because the words

Come to life and glow

With love.

I write,

Because dragons and fairies

Need to fly,

And I set them free with my promises.

I write,

Because I want someone,

Somewhere,

To understand,

The lyrical order of words,

That occur in my head.

I write,

Because maybe,

Someone out there,

Needs to hear what I have to speak,

And because I need the world to remember,

That I exist,

And I have something to offer.
