Rain.
Each drop of H20 hitting my face
rejuvenating me
Cleaning my soul
Washing me of my sins
Making me realize how I needed this
Cold winds and
rain
Not sure what direction to go
I'm sitting over here.
I've been catching glances at you
Scrutinizing your drive into the concrete
Pounding the pavement.
Continue to do what you're doing
I see you awkwardly watching my awkward self.
Surrounding me, causing me to pull in for warmth.
People talk so badly about you
They hate how you fall on them
They don't realize the good in you. They don't understand your wonderful purpose.
You never go unnoticed by me though.
