The Creation of Monotony

What is the key to creating something new?

What is the contrast between the sharp and the senseless?

All humans are born curious, seamlessly striving to catch the coming concept.

The search is dulling;

the movement is shifting;

the advances of society diminishing the drive for success.

This disease plaguing our talents is spreading into schools.

Art is now a parody, a joke for the "educated",

With art comes no money, no future, no power;

and with this opinion, our ideas cease to flower.

The brainy and the bold are captured behind boxes;

the cubicles our parents pushed us to sit behind.

The tan walls reflecting the dullness of our minds due to our blindness

of the arts.

New ideas dwindle, because schools do not kindle

the creativity and individuality needed in this society.

Monotony is taking over.

The new quickly becomes the familiar.

The inept are trying to intercept

the creation of creativity.

I like to express myself while being short, sweet, and to the point.
