The escape form this strange gray place.

melting the color in humans a way

This place: soggy wet elongated gray

To a world of color that, anyone can paint

Each word is purpose and intent

the artist creates a masterpiece to live in

safe from the shade, the painting lives in her head

through words on graypaper lives a bright red.

Learning to thrive.

to live and be alive

refusing the drip of the old mundane

to become red words and bright yellow rays.
